Flightmaster Single ‘Lift & Tilt’ and Base (SR288)

I recently acquired another batch of Flightmasters which included this rather wonderful little trap. I haven’t seen this particular variation before and was a bit sceptical as to it’s purpose and use but it’s an absolute corker!Flightmaster Single 'Lift & Tilt' and Base.
The story is that it’s a prototype built by the manufacturer for a customer, I reckon that’s right as I have two more of these, slightly modified, zinc plated and a left and right pair. The trap is fully adjustable for elevation by a big ‘T’ bolt and it also tilts to the right to produce some lovely curling targets.Flightmaster Single 'Lift & Tilt' and Base. The spring doesn’t look as powerful as some but due to the single lengthened arm it is capable of throwing a long and fast driven clay. There’s a new stainless steel teal clip and a re-rubbered drive rail.Flightmaster Single 'Lift & Tilt' and Base. It’s a standard Flightmaster ‘A’ frame base that comes apart and the trap folds flat for travel and storage. I’ve made a new seat which is adjustable for length to suit the operator. The owner wasn’t the most meticulous about his leaky shed so there is a bit of surface degradation but and I’ve tidied up the whole trap with a bit of black paint.Flightmaster Single 'Lift & Tilt' and Base.I’ve only done up this one so far but you’re welcome to ask for pictures of the other traps if you’re looking for a driven setup for your guests.Flightmaster Single 'Lift & Tilt' and Base.£145 (+£25 delivery) SOLD
