This is a Juba Mk2 seated base frame with two fully elevation adjustable single throwing arms, each capable of throwing any clay from flat to teal, either as singles or a pair of stacked clays. The trap can be used as a single arm from the main mounting bar or the extension piece can also be fitted to lift and fit the second trap for either Fur & Feather or two birds. The drive rubbers and teal clips can be moved to throw all types of clay including battue, for consistent targets the original stops are included. One of the traps has what Juba call the rabbit adapter so the head can be side mounted to throw heavier rabbit clays, standards as flying rabbits or any type of looping clay by lifting the arm upwards.I have acquired the trap in more or less as new condition complete with a box of clays that has 70 left so I’m guessing it has never thrown more than 80 clays, it certainly doesn’t show any appreciable use anywhere. I have taken it to pieces then greased the shafts as it was put back together but apart from that nothing was needed before I hand the trap over to a new owner. As expected, it does have marks on the frame and where the traps have been bolted to the base but overall the trap is in excellent condition, even including the original 19mm spanner. These traps are easy to use as the springs are a bit lighter so they are ideal for trainer or junior trappers, a lovely machine for fast following pairs. £310 (+£25 delivery)
