I’ve just had another large batch of traps brought in which included several No.3’s. Bowman double arm traps are the backbone of many gun clubs – a professional trap which is also ideal for private use. It’s easy to use, powerful and lightweight, throwing any combination of standard, midi and mini pairs or single targets.All of these traps were part of a large shooting business which I think, must have kept most of their manual traps as backup for the electrics because I’m surprised at how little wear each one has, they haven’t done much work at all.Each of the traps has been stripped and rebuilt, adding new stainless steel teal clips and rubber in the drive rails. This trap was originally sold as a double thrower but many large operators take the top arm off, as in this case, so I have fitted a top arm again and made up a tie bar to join both arms together as it would have been.The trap has adjustable elevation and throws a nice pair of clays on my test range, although the trap does look a bit tatty in places it is up to a standard where I’m happy to put on my money back guarantee.£140.00 (+£15 delivery)
