This is the main stay of many clubs and private clay shooters alike, a Bowman Junior. These little traps are ideal for a pair of targets in quick succession, the first or second clay of a stand or just for a bit of entertainment with a group of friends.Starting from the ground up there is a brand new seated frame on which is bolted a Bowman elevating base with the accompanying Junior single arm trap. This trap, along with many others came from a large shooting ground that had kept all their Bowmans back as spares so it hasn’t really done much work. I’ve completely stripped and rebuilt it adding new rubber and a stainless steel teal clip to hold back the clay at higher angles. Height and angle on the base is by a large handled bolt so no tools are needed during shooting once the trap is all tightened down to the frame. Overall this is a rather nice package to put in the shed for occasional or club use, as with all Bowman equipment it’s solid, reliable and easy to use, especially for anyone entering the wonderful sport of clay shooting and learning to be a trapper.£170 (+£20 delivery)
