This is the main stay of many clubs and private clay shooters alike, a Bowman Junior. These little traps are ideal for a pair of targets in quick succession, the first or second clay of a stand or just for a bit of entertainment with a group of friends.The single arm trap is mounted on a base which had been cut down from a bigger trap to be more in proportion with the Junior, I’ve tidied it up with a bit of paint. I’ve completely stripped and rebuilt the trap, adding a new rubber drive rail and a stainless steel teal clip to hold back the clay at higher angles if the trapper isn’t on level ground. Overall this is a rather nice package to put in the shed for occasional or club use, as with all Bowman equipment it’s solid, reliable and easy to use, especially for anyone entering the wonderful sport of clay shooting and learning to be a trapper.£135 (+£20 delivery)
