This is a Clay Sport trap that has been adapted to fit a base which is now out of commission so I’m selling it as ‘head only’. It’s a single arm machine which will throw a standard, midi or mini from an adjustable elevation footplate, all you will need to do is bolt it onto something and you’re ready to shoot clays.As with all my traps, it has been completely stripped and rebuilt but this time with a coat of paint to tidy up the whole thing. Shaft and bearing surfaces are good, greased by the nipple on the front end; the ‘J’ bolt, knurled knob and spring are original; the spring bush is new; I have  replaced a screw and turned the rubber drive rail to a new end although both ends are good, I’ve also fitted another teal clip.The triangular footplate is a home-built item with a full elevation range adjusted and tightened by an extended nut and re-bar handle. This is the sort of trap which would be ideal on a permanent post mount, quad rack or your own designed base.£65 (+£15 Delivery)
